Grammys 2022 will recognize the best recordings, compositions, and artists of the eligibility year, running from September 1, 2020, to September 30, 2021.
Grammys 2022 was originally scheduled for January 31, 2022, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles; however, on January 5, 2022, the Recording Academy postponed the ceremony indefinitely due to health and safety concerns related to the COVID-19 Omicron variant.
On January 18, 2022, the ceremony was rescheduled to April 3, 2022, and its location switched to the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Billy Strings will perform at the 64th Annual Grammy Awards held at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev., on Sunday, April 3.
Strings along with Chris Stapleton, John Legend, Carrie Underwood, Brandi Carlile, Silk Sonic, Jon Batiste, H.E.R., Ben Platt, Olivia Rodrigo, and many more artists are set to take the stage later tonight.
Billy Strings is also up for two awards;
Best American Roots Performance for “Love and Regret” and Best Bluegrass Album for 2021’s Renewal.
