After retiring from the National Football League, he became co-host of FS1’s First Things First in 2020. A year before that, he joined the sports show Inside The NFL as a co-host, alongside James Brown, Phil Simms, Ray Lewis, and Julian Edelman, who recently joined the show.

Marshall’s suspension from the NFL in 2008, his history of petty domestic violence, his mental illness (borderline personality disorder), and his wife stabbing him in 2013 are a few of the many setbacks that didn’t hold the former NFL star back. He started playing professionally, for the Denver Broncos in 2006 and retired after his time with the New Orleans Saints who he joined in 2018.

There are talks about his time after First Things First, sources have revealed that he will become the new host of Jada Pinkett’s Red Table Talk upcoming series, The Toughest Opponent. “A decade ago I spoke publicly for the first time about my borderline personality disorder diagnosis… I cannot be more excited to partner with Red Table Talks Production to amplify the powerful truths of my fellow athletes,” Marshall said via Deadline.

Marshall is currently married to a former forensic behavioral specialist, Michi Nogami. They met while they were both students at the University of Florida, dated for a while, and broke up. They reconnected, were engaged in 2009, and got married in 2010. Their relationship has been marked with bouts of domestic violence and conflicts, as was Marshall’s relationship with former sweetheart Rasheeda. Marshall and Michi have three children together, and he is worth about 48 million USD (according to PlayersGF).
