Busta Rhymes Parents: Meet Trevor Smith, Geraldine Green

Trevor George Smith Jr., better known by his stage name Busta Rhymes, was born on May 20, 1972, in Brooklyn, New York. He is 50 years old.

He is a Universal Motown-signed American actor and rapper. He started out as a rapper with the group Leaders of the New School, and his big break came when they appeared on the Scenario song by A Tribe Called Quest.

The Coming, Busta’s debut album, was subsequently released in 1996. Since then, he has produced When Disaster Strikes in 1997, E.L.E. (Extinction Level Event): The Final World Front from 1998, and Anarchy in 2000.

Genesis, It Ain’t Safe No More, The Big Bang, and Back on My B.S. were films released between 2001 and 2009. The Chemo, his ninth studio album, is expected to be released in the first half of 2010.
