Carlos and Molly are third in line to win the show this evening (December 17, 2022) according to the bookie’s latest odds.

Carlos is one of four new professional dancers who joined the show for Strictly’s 2022 series.

It was revealed he was part of the pro-line-up, along with Latin dancing champ Michelle Tsiakkas, former Under 21 British National Champion Lauren Oakley, and Italia Latin American Champion Vito Coppola.

Announcing the news on Twitter, the BBC said: “Welcome Carlos, Lauren, Michelle, and Vito who join the show and become part of the biggest pro-line-up in #Strictly history!”

When asked about joining Strictly, Carlos told the BBC: “I’m thrilled to join Strictly and very excited to get started.

“It’s a new chapter of my life and a new challenge as well. I’m absolutely ready to take on this journey and to shine.”As of December 2022, Carlos has over 30,000 followers on his Instagram page.

The dancer uses the platform to post his impressive dance routines, and also share pictures of the competitions he takes part in – including all his Strictly snaps.

He also used it to pay tribute to the late Queen saying he was a “huge fan of the Royal family”.

He posted that she was a “great woman of all time”.

He added: “I am devastated but take comfort that you are reunited with Prince Philip, the love of your life.

“Rest in the peace that you so deserve, knowing you will never be forgotten. Your devoted subject Carlos.”
