Chad Michael Ryland is an American football placekicker for the New England Patriots of the National Football League.

He played college football at Eastern Michigan and Maryland. The placekicker spent four years with the Eastern Michigan Eagles before transferring to the Maryland Terrapins for his final season in 2022.

His mother Debra Ryland is an artist and art educator at Cedar Crest Middle School.
