The Taylor family, led by parents Chris and Mary Taylor, has been a constant source of encouragement and pride for the talented outfielder.

Chris Taylor’s mother, Mary, played a significant role in his journey to the grand stage of MLB. In 2017, as the Dodgers faced the Astros in the finals, Mary had the opportunity to share her thoughts in an interview.

Despite the Dodgers falling short of victory, Mary witnessed her son achieve a remarkable feat – the MVP award for the National League Championship Series (NLCS).

The legacy of athletic excellence runs deep in the Taylor family. Chris’s father, Chris Taylor Sr., and grandfather, Armand Taylor, both attended Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech is renowned for its strong wrestling program.

Chris Sr. and Armand competed on the wrestling team during their time there. Chris Taylor Sr’s wrestling career at the university was nothing short of illustrious, with his achievements including holding the record for the fastest pin at one point.

Currently, Chris Taylor Sr. is a project manager at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, an esteemed engineering company. In 2019, the company recognized his remarkable dedication and hard work with a special honor commemorating 37 years of service.

Completing the Taylor family is Chris’s sister, Noel Taylor, who has carved her own path of success. Noel pursued her studies at Virginia Tech and graduated in 2020 with a degree in public relations and management.

Since her graduation, she has embarked on a promising career at Mythics Inc., an IT company. Beginning her journey as a sales development representative, Noel’s dedication and skills have propelled her to the position of support solutions representative.
