Although, born on June 21, 1998, in Vancouver, Canada, Lee has Chinese-Singaporean and Korean ancestry.

He made his amateur debut in 2015 at Star Elite Cage Fighting.

Lee fights in Featherweight, Lightweight, and Welterweight divisions in ONE Championship and won the ONE Lightweight World Grand Prix Championship in 2019.

In the same year, he had paired with his sister Angela Lee, who is also a mixed martial artist and a ONE Atomweight World Champion.

Lee trains out of the Evolve MMA and the United MMA teams and has earned a Black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.

Lee who has been signed with ONE Championship since age 17, now has a martial arts record of 21 wins and only 4 losses.
