Clark Tinsley Middleton, an American actor born on April 13, 1957, in Bristol, Tennessee, rose to prominence for his roles in a number of films and television shows. Kill Bill: Vol. 2, Sin City, Fringe, Snowpiercer, and The Blacklist were among his most noteworthy supporting parts.

Middleton’s acting career began when he and a group of friends joined a $15 acting class at a junior college in California.
After acquiring some theater experience in Los Angeles, he traveled to New York City to resume his acting training. He studied in the Herbert Berghof Studio, where he was fortunate to be taught by Geraldine Page.
Middleton made his television debut in the 1983 film Miss Lonelyhearts. In 1997, he was inspired by his love of storytelling to develop the one-man play Miracle Mile.
His personal experience with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, a condition he had battled his entire life, was explored in the play. Middleton wowed audiences with his talent as he performed Miracle Mile in several cities around the United States.

During the 1990s, Middleton appeared as forensics technician Ellis on Law & Order and as Edward Markham, a rare book collector, on the science-fiction series Fringe.
His most well-known part, though, was on The Blacklist, where he played Glen Carter, a DMV employee with a secret life as a tracker.
