Although she wants to become a journalist or a businesswoman later on she decided to become a fitness model.

Kimberly married Colin Cowherd in 1996 in a private ceremony in the same year when Colin moved to Portland, Oregon to become a full-time sports anchorman for KGW-TV and this led to the beginning of a popular Fox Sports Radio show The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

Everything was going well and in 2000, Vadala gave birth to her first child, a daughter named Liv.
