He was the first athlete to be named to the All-Ohio first team in 2021 as a junior at John Glenn High School. He participated in the 14U and 16U National Team Development Programs for 2021 and 2019, respectively.
He is recognized by Perfect Game as a First Team Preseason All-American as of 2023 because he is a part of the U18 National Team, who took home the gold medal at the 2022 World Baseball Championship.
