Craig Hawkins is well known as the father of American college basketball star Jordan Hawkins.

He is married to Jasmine Hawkins and together they share four children; Jordan, Alexis, Chynna, and Paris Hawkins.

However, Craig’s son Jordan Hawkins is an American college basketball player for the UConn Huskies of the Big East Conference.
Jordan attended Gaithersburg High School and after his sophomore year, he transferred to DeMatha Catholic High School.

Following his senior year at DeMatha, he averaged 19.7 points, 11.4 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 2.3 steals, and 1.9 blocks, while shooting .636 overall and .464 from three-point range to lead DeMatha to an 11-0 record and was named 2020-21 Gatorade Maryland Player of the Year.
After high school, Hawkins committed to play collegiate basketball for UConn over offers from other colleges.
As a freshman, Hawkins appeared in 27 games, with four starts, and averaged 5.8 points and 2.0 rebounds in 14.7 minutes per game and was impressive enough to be named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team.
