American comic book artist Dan Green (November 26, 1952 – August 19, 2023) specialized as an inker starting in the early 1970s. After receiving breakdowns from illustrators like John Romita Sr., John Romita Jr., John Byrne, John Buscema, Sal Buscema, Marc Silvestri, George Pérez, Keith Giffen, Gene Colan, Jack Kirby, Steve Ditko, Carmine Infantino, Al Williamson, Bernie Wrightson, and Keith Pollard, he frequently provided the finished artwork.

Dan Green was born on November 26, 1952, in Detroit, Michigan. From the middle of the 1970s to the present, he worked as an inker on numerous titles, including extensive runs on Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine, and Hulk for Marvel Comics and DC’s Justice League of America.

Doctor Strange: Into Shamballa, a 1986 Marvel graphic novel, was co-written by Green and featured watercolor drawings. Additionally, in 1985, he painted the covers for a Gargoyle issue and an issue of Amazing High Adventure for Marvel.
