Daniel Halseth Ex-Wife: Who is Elizabeth Halseth?

Elizabeth Nicole Halseth is a politician from the United States who was previously married to Daniel Halseth a 45 years old Las Vegas computer technician who was brutally murdered in April 2021.

The couple were married from 2001 to 2011. They had three children together. The former couple had a bitter divorce, according to court records. Sierra’s mother, Elizabeth Helgelien, was granted primary custody after Daniel Halseth filed for divorce in 2011, but the girl’s parents began arguing about custody arrangements in 2020.

Daniel Halseth attempted to prevent his ex-wife Elizabeth Halseth from moving to Alaska with their three children to be with a boyfriend at the time, identified only as “Mr Helgelien” in court documents.

Sierra Halseth, the former couple’s youngest daughter, and her boyfriend, Aaron Guerrero, were arrested in Salt Lake City in April 2021 for the murder of her father in Las Vegas. Daniel Halseth’s body was dismembered and burned. Both were sentenced to 22 years to life in prison on October 20, 2022, after pleading guilty on May 25, 2022.

Elizabeth served in the Nevada Senate as a Republican from November 2010 to February 2012. She is the state’s youngest legislator, having been elected at the age of 21. In 2018, she ran unsuccessfully for a seat in the Nevada Senate.
