Daniel Huston, an American actor, director, and screenwriter, was born on May 14, 1962. He is a member of the Huston filmmaking clan and the half-brother of Anjelica Huston’s actress father, John Huston.

At the age of 12, Huston made his acting debut in the 1975 thriller The “Human” Factor, which starred George Kennedy.
Huston adapted Thornton Wilder’s Theophilus North for the screen in 1988 with the film Mr. North. His father, who produced the movie but passed away before it was finished. Huston starred in Leaving Las Vegas as Bartender #2 and directed The Maddening in 1995. Huston’s performance in the independent movie Ivans Xtc earned him a nomination for Best Male Performance at the Independent Spirit Awards in 2003.
