Sydney’s husband Darcy Kuemper is a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender.
He is now playing for the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League.
Born May 5, 1990, Kuemper stands at a height of 6 feet 5 inches and weighs 215 pounds (98 kg).
Kuemper was selected by the Minnesota Wild in the sixth round, 161st overall, of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
He was loaned to the Ontario Reign of the ECHL on October 13, 2011. However, Kuemper was recalled by the Wild on November 12, 2011.
Kuemper won the Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2022.

On July 13, 2022, Kuemper signed a 5-year, $26.25 million contract with the Washington Capitals.
Before joining the Washington Capitals, he played with the Los Angeles Kings, Arizona Coyotes and Colorado Avalanche.
Competing internationally with Team Canada, he won gold at the 2021 IIHF World Championship.
