Tennis superstar, Daria Kasatkina, was born on May 7, 1998, in Tolyatti, Samara Oblast, to Sergey Kasatkin and Tatyana Kasatkina.

Her parents both ranked tops in national athletics in Russia during their time. Her father in ice hockey and her mother in athletics. But now her father works as an engineer at the Volga Automotive Plant and; while her mother practices law.
Her parents are also of Russian origin.

Daria’s love for tennis began at an early age of 6, when she began playing.
As a junior, she won the European championship and one junior Grand Slam singles title at the 2014 French Open.
At age 18, Daria was ranked No. 32 in the world, after winning her first WTA title at the Charleston Open.
In 2018, she was runner-up to Naomi Osaka at the Premier Mandatory Indian Wells Open. Her biggest title as a Tennis champion came at the Kremlin Cup and at the St. Petersburg Trophy in Russia.
