An American actor named David Shwimmer is best known for playing Ross Geller in the hit sitcom “Friends.” After earning his degree from the prestigious “Northwestern University” in the late 1980s, David, who was born and raised in New York, relocated to Los Angeles in search of better employment opportunities.

He essentially had no employment for the following few years. He began to receive offers for important jobs that were commensurate with his talent in the 1990s. He made his full acting debut in the television series “The Wonder Years,” and in 1991, he made his debut in the movie “Flight of the Intruder.” He was chosen to portray the illustrious part of “Ross Geller” in the hit comedy “Friends” in 1994.

Arthur and Arlene Schwimmer welcomed David Schwimmer into the world on November 2, 1966 in Queens, New York. His mother was an accomplished divorce lawyer. He had an older sister and was the second child in the family. Around the age of ten, the family relocated to Los Angeles. This was David’s first encounter with the entertainment industry.

He was extremely attracted with Los Angeles. He began performing in school productions. He played the fairy godmother in the play “Cinderella,” which was one of these.
