Former bodybuilder and powerlifter Dawn Whitham lost her lengthy fight with cancer on February 14, 2023. She used her Facebook account to share the news of her passing. Whitham received a diagnosis of brain cancer years ago. Since then, she has kept a diary of her medical care and shared it with her followers. Whitham also disclosed in a post dated November 2022 that she had melanoma as the cause of her cancer (tanning).

Dawn Whitham continued exercising and bodybuilding despite being unwell. She kept working out in the gym.

Whitham was also frequently spotted wearing a costume identical to Sylvester Stallone’s well-known persona Rambo since she was a huge fan. She gradually gained the moniker “Rambo girl” from her admirers. Fans were understandably devastated to learn that their favorite fighter had passed away.
Anywhere she competed, Dawn Whitham had success. She had a successful career as a tattoo artist as well. Whitham started competing in the late 1980s and during the course of her career, she developed exceptional strength.
On her Facebook page, Whitham described some of her most amazing lifts. She excelled in the competition, performing a 405-pound bench press for three reps and a 405-pound squat for six. She performed astonishingly well while using fewer weights during training. Whitham completed 63 full reps of the 225-pound squat and 32 bench press repetitions with 185 pounds.
