Deputy Attorney-General Alfred Tuah-Yeboah praised the Director of Public Prosecution (DPP), Yvonne Atakorah Obuobisa, for her effective questioning of the third defendant, Richard Jakpa, in the Ato Forson case.

Mr. Tuah-Yeboah dismissed allegations that Madam Obuobisa encountered difficulties during the cross-examination on Tuesday, June 18th.

When journalists brought up concerns after Tuesday’s proceedings that the prosecutor seemed frustrated with Richard Jakpa’s responses at one point, Mr. Tuah-Yeboah responded, “She was not frustrated; she did an excellent job.”
During the ambulance procurement trial on Tuesday, June 18th, the prosecution informed an Accra High Court that Richard Jakpa initially contacted the Attorney General, Godfred Yeboah Dame, contrary to the businessman’s testimony that suggested the opposite.
