Arnold Schwarzenegger is an Austrian and American actor, politician, entrepreneur, and former professional bodybuilder.
Born on July 30, 1947, in Thal, Austria, Arnold began weight lifting as a teenager and became Mr. universe at age 20. He then went on to clinch the Mr. Olympia title seven times, making him one of the greatest bodybuilders of all times.

Arnold earned the nickname the “Austrian Oak” during his bodybuilding days. He later retired from bodybuilding at age 33 in 1980.

Arnold broke into Hollywood starring in several action films such as The Terminator (1984), Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991), Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003), Terminator Genisys (2015), and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019).
Other films in which he appeared include Commando (1985), The Running Man (1987), Predator (1987), Red Heat (1988), Total Recall (1990), True Lies (1994), Junior (1994), and Jingle All the Way (1996).
Arnold got into politics as a Republican and served as the governor of California between 2003 and 2011.
After politics, he returned to the screens, and has so far written several books on bodybuilding.
