Popular American actor, Barry Newman has passed away sadly at the age of 92. His cause of death was not announced but over a decade ago, he was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer, therefore, some sources claim that it might have contributed to his death.

His death was announced by his wife, Angela, and she shared that the actor died on May 11, 2023. Newman appeared in 1960s Pretty Boy Floyd and made his debut breakthrough role in The Lawyer (1970). In 1974, he appeared in the TV series Petrocelli.

He also starred in several movies and tv shows. Some of them include Vanishing Point, City on Fire, King Crab, Second Sight: A Love Story, My Two Loves, The Mirror Crack’d from Side to Side, Daylight, Bowfinger, Fugitive Mind, and more.
“Sorry to hear about the passing of Barry Newman, star of Vanishing Point. Back in the pre-cable days when a movie could remain in theatrical release for years, literally, I saw his pedal-to-the-metal classic countless times in first-run, second round, and drive-in theatres,” Senior Media Writer, Joe Leydon wrote after the actor’s death was announced.
