Bruce Springsteen did not serve in Vietnam. Bruce was drafted for the US Army aged 19 to serve his country in the Vietnam War, however, he failed the physical examination and avoided service in the Vietnam War.

Bruce Springsteen reportedly failed the physical examination due to the concussion he suffered in a motorcycle accident two years prior along with his behaviour at induction.
