Dominick Cruz is an American professional MMA fighter. Cruz was born on March 9, 1985, in San Diego, California to Suzette Howe and Mr Cruz.

Mr Cruz was not always present in his son’s life. Dominick Cruz had a difficult childhood. He experienced frequent emotional ups and downs as a result of his drug-addicted father and his parent’s divorce.

After his father abandoned his mother, he spent the majority of his childhood in a Tucson trailer park with his single mother Suzette, grandmother, and brother.

Cruz began wrestling in the seventh grade, which allowed him to escape the problems in his life.

Dominick Cruz is now considered to be one of the best UFC fighters. Dominick Cruz currently competes in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) in the Bantamweight division, where he is a two-time UFC Bantamweight Champion.

Cruz has also competed for World Extreme Cagefighting (WEC), where he held the title of WEC Bantamweight Champion. He is ranked #8 in the UFC bantamweight rankings as of May 2, 2022.
