Donald Arthur Mattingly is an American former professional baseball first baseman and coach.

He is the current manager for the Miami Marlins of Major League Baseball.

Mattingly graduated from Reitz Memorial High School in Evansville, Indiana, and was selected by the Yankees in the 1979 amateur draft.

Debuting with the Yankees in 1982 after four seasons in Minor League Baseball, he emerged as the Yankees’ starting first baseman after a successful rookie season in 1983.

Mattingly spent his entire 14-year career playing with the New York Yankees and subsequently managed the Los Angeles Dodgers for five years.

In 2005, Mattingly launched Mattingly Sports, a baseball and softball equipment company, based primarily on the patented V-Grip baseball and softball bats.

Lori was born in 1971 in Evansville, Indiana to the former Phyllis McClarney. She has two sisters; Trena Morris and Vicki Beck.

Lori Mattingly and Don Mattingly tied the knot on December 10, 2010, in Evansville, Indiana.

The couple has a son Louis Riley Mattingly.

Lori also had two sons from her previous marriage to Andrew J. Manion; Reynolds Manion and Isaac Manion. While Don Mattingly shares three children with his ex-wife Kim Sexton; Taylor Mattingly, Preston Mattingly and Jordon Mattingly.
