Donald M. Blinken Ex-Wife: Meet Judith Frehm ​

Judith Frem was the first wife of American businessman, director and one of the founders of E. M. Warburg Pincus & Company, an investment bank in New York and diplomat Donald M. Blinken.

Donald and Judith tied the knot in 1961.

However, they divorced in 1971, 10 years after their wedding.

Much is not known about Judith.

Sadly, Donald has died. He died on Sept. 22, 2022 at age 96.

He also has many accomplishments in the world of art and culture – he was one of the earliest collectors of Mark Rothko’s works and as a result, he was named President of the Mark Rothko Foundation in 1976.

Prior to his death, he served as;

• President of the Brooklyn Academy of Music from 1970 to 1976,
• Was a member of the Executive Committee of the New York Public Library,
• A Board member and former Chairman of the Contemporary Publication Committee, and
• Overseer of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Institute of Government, and a member of the Trustees’ Council of the National Gallery of Art.

He was also an Honorary Trustee of the New York Philharmonic Society.
