Donyell Malen stands tall at a height of 1.76 m (5 feet 9 inches). Donyell Malen was born on January 19, 1999, in Wieringen, Netherlands. Malen began his career with Ajax in 2007, leaving in 2015 to join English club Arsenal.

Donyell Malen went on to make his debut for PSV in a 4–0 Eredivisie win over PEC Zwolle on 3 February 2018. Malen went on to win the 2018 Eredivisie title with PSV and ended the 2017–18 season as Jong PSV’s top scorer.

On 29 October 2020, Donyell Malen scored a brace in a 2–1 away win over AC Omonia in the 2020–21 UEFA Europa League.

Donyell Malen was part of the Dutch squad which took part in a four-team tournament, scoring a 90th-minute equalizer against Portugal and then scoring a brace in a 9–0 rout of Finland.
During a U19 Euro qualifier on 7 October 2017, Donyell Malen netted for Netherlands’s U19s to cap off a 2–0 victory at home against Hungary.
Donyell Malen made his senior international debut for the Netherlands on 6 September 2019, in a UEFA Euro 2020 qualifier against Germany in Hamburg.
