Pittsburgh Steelers backup quarterback and former Ohio State standout Dwayne Haskins has died.

Dwayne Haskins died at the age of 24.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the news on Saturday (April 9, 2022) morning, saying that Haskins was hit by a car in South Florida that morning.
However, details of the accident have not yet been released.
Dwayne Haskins Jr. was an American football quarterback who played in the National Football League for three seasons.

Dwayne Haskins played college football at Ohio State, where he threw 50 touchdowns in 2018, his lone starting season, one of just seven quarterbacks to reach the milestone in a single NCAA season.
Dwayne Haskins was selected by the Washington Redskins in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but was released after less than two seasons.
Dwayne Haskins signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers the following season and was on the team’s roster when he was fatally struck by a car in April 2022.
