Award-winning actor Ed O’Neill was born to his parents, Edward Phillip O’Neill, Sr., and Ruth Ann Quinlan.

His mother, Ruth, was a social worker, and his father, worked at the steel mill worker and drove trucks. Little wonder Ed began working at the steel mill at age 14.

Ed O’Neill is an actor famous for playing Al Bundy in one of the longest-running sitcoms in American TV history, “Married… with Children”, from 1987 to 1997.

Born on April 12, 1946, in Youngstown, Ohio, United States, Ed’s career spans several decades, with notable roles in both television and film.

After a huge success from appearing in “Married… with Children,” Ed went on to star in other films such as the sitcom “Modern Family,” “Dutch,” “Wayne’s World,” “Little Giants,” “Finding Dory,” “The West Wing,” “The Practice,” and “Dragnet.”

Other films Ed has appeared include “The Dogs of War”, and “The Bone Collector”.
