Eric Braeden Children: Meet his Son Christian Gudegast

Eric Braeden is a German-born film and television actor. Eric Braeden and his wife Dale Russell Gudegast have a son together.

Christian Gudegast is the only child of Eric Braeden and his wife Dale Russell. He was born and raised in Los Angeles. In 1992, he graduated from the UCLA Film School. His thesis film, “Shadow Box”, won the award for Best Student Film that same year.

He started out as a rap music video director before selling his first screenplay, Black Ocean which he co-wrote with his former partner Paul Scheuring to Oliver Stone in 1993, launching his screenwriting career.

Christian Gudegast has worked on several major studio releases as an uncredited rewriter and production polisher. Christian Gudegast is married and the father of three children.

Eric Braeden has shared images of his grandchildren on social media. On September 2, 2019, the proud grandfather tweeted a family photo. The soap star wrote: “The three granddaughters!”
