Filip Zadina is a professional ice hockey player from the Czech Republic. He is the son of Andrea Zadinová and Marek Zadina.

Zadina’s father, Marek is a retired professional ice hockey player. He was a member of the 1992 Czechoslovakia world junior team. His father currently works as an assistant coach for HC Oceláři Třinec of the Czech Extraliga.
Zadina began his hockey career in the Czech Republic, playing in the youth system of HC Pardubice. He then moved to North America to pursue his professional career in the Canadian Hockey League (CHL).

In the CHL, Zadina played for the Halifax Mooseheads of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL). In the 2017-2018 season, he recorded an impressive 44 goals and 38 assists for a total of 82 points in just 57 games
Zadina was selected sixth overall by the Detroit Red Wings in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut with the Red Wings during the 2018-2019 season.
