He can play both fly-half and center. Russell’s international career began in 2014 with Scotland, and in 2021 he was given a test cap after taking part in two tours with the British & Irish Lions.
Russell returned to Glasgow for the 2013–14 campaign. Given that some of Glasgow’s top players were serving abroad, Russell was chosen to start against Zebre on February 10, 2013, as part of the 2013 Six Nations Championship.
At the 56th minute of the game, Russell entered the pitch and made his professional debut. On November 22, 2013, at Inside Center against the Newport Gwent Dragons at Scotstoun Stadium, Russell made his first start for the squad during the 2013–14 Pro12 campaign.

Finn Russell Siblings: Meet Finn Russell’s Brother Archie Russell
Finn Russell’s brother Archie Russell is also a player. He is known for the club side Ayr. Archie, an outside center, has a stronger frame than his standoff sibling and is a little more direct on the field. He also has a good turn of speed.
How has he found student life in Cambridge? He was in the Scottish academy system but dropped out, taking a year out of his life to earn a master’s in Technology Policy at St. Edmunds.
Jake Hennessey, a teenager from Scotland who played for the national U19 squad and led Harlequins to the U18s championship, actually starts with Archie. He was given a spot at Harlequins Academy, but he preferred having a degree as a backup plan. Not much is known about Archie Russell’s personal life as he isn’t well-known like his brother.
