Gerry Connolly and his wife have a daughter Caitlin Rose Connolly.  Caitlin Rose Connolly graduated from W.T. Woodson High in 2009 and is a graduate of the University of Virginia.

Gerry Connolly is a member of the Democratic Party and has served as the U.S. Representative for Virginia’s 11th congressional district since January 2009.

Gerry is a senior member of the House Committee on Oversight and Reform, where he chairs the Subcommittee on Government Operations, and is serving his seventh term in Congress.

Gerry serves on the Oversight Committee, where he uses his background in state and local issues to shape government procurement, technology, and information policy, as well as overseeing federal agencies such as the United States Postal Service and the Census Bureau.
