Louise Goffin
Louise Goffin, born on born March 23, 1960, is an American singer-songwriter and producer, who published her album A Christmas Carole in 2011. She was signed to DreamWorks in 1999 by record executive Lenny Waronker, and Sometimes a Circle was subsequently released in 2002.
Goffin established Majority of One Records in May 2008 and since then has independently released five albums, an EP, and a variety of singles. Via the NGO WriteGirl, she also coaches young women from impoverished backgrounds in songwriting.

Goffin’s musical career began when she opened for Jackson Browne at the Troubadour when she was barely 17 years old. Her self-titled debut album Kid Blue, which Elektra Records distributed, was created by Danny Kortchmar.
She was the youngest musician to add music to the Fast Times at Ridgemont High soundtrack.
Goffin resided in England from 1984 to 1994 while producing two albums for WEA. The 1988 film This Is the Place included the “Bridge of Sighs” video hit from VH1. The next album was a rare UK Eastwest Records release that featured a cover of U2’s “Sweetest Thing,” with extra lyrics by Bono. It was recorded between 1990 and 1991 at Astoria Studios.
Greg Wells oversaw the production of Goffin’s 2002 album Occasionally a Circle on the DreamWorks label. Goffin has actively participated in the charitable group WriteGirl’s songwriting classes for teenage girls from underprivileged backgrounds in addition to her music career.

The two daughters of Gerry Goffin and Carole King, singer-songwriter Louise Goffin and actress Sherry Goffin Kondor, were born between 1959 and 1969. Goffin and Jeanie Reavis had a daughter together named Dawn (Earl-Jean McCrea). Not much is known about Sherry Goffin and Dawn Reavis.
