Mr. Greg S. Marcus is President, Chief Executive Officer & Director at Marcus Corp., and a Principal at Marcus Investments LLC.

Greg Marcus is the leader and face of The Marcus Corp., the Milwaukee-based, publicly traded, family-led movie entertainment and lodging business, founded by his grandfather, Ben Marcus, in 1935. Marcus succeeded his father, Stephen Marcus, as president in 2008 and as chief executive officer in 2009.

He is on the Board of Directors at Marcus Corp. and United Way of Greater Milwaukee, Inc.

Prior to joining Marcus Investments, Mr. Marcus served on the board at Cinema Screen Media LLC and Columbia St. Mary’s, Inc.

Mr. Marcus graduated from Indiana University and received his JD from Boston University.

The Marcus Family of Businesses has demonstrated a remarkable capacity for growth and reinvention for more than 85 years. Ben Marcus financed his first movie theater in the mid-1930s in Ripon, Wisconsin. He spent the next 35 years building a portfolio of businesses that included hotels, movie theaters, and restaurants.

I was lucky to have come across some of their family pictures that Marcus Gregory took at their Marengo Farms in 2014. But the names of their children are not in the public space.
