Hany Abubakr Mukhtar is a German professional footballer who currently plays for Nashville SC in Major League Soccer as an attacking midfielder.

Mukhtar began his football career with FC Stern Marienfelde. At the age of seven, he was recruited into the youth academy of the then-Bundesliga club Hertha BSC.
Mukhtar was named the 2022 Landon Donovan MLS MVP on November 1, 2022, after garnering 48.03% of the total votes cast. Mukhtar led the league in 2022 with 34 goal contributions, which tied for the fifth-most in a single MLS season.
