Harrison Bader is a Major League Baseball center fielder for the New York Yankees (MLB).

Bader won the Gold Glove Award in center field in 2021. He is one of five Cardinals to do so (an MLB record). He was the Cardinals’ first Gold Glove winner since Jim Edmonds in 2000-05.

Bader had 367 at-bats in 103 games in 2021, slashing.267/.324/.460 with 16 home runs, 50 RBIs, 21 doubles, nine stolen bases, and six intentional walks (8th in the NL).

His sprint speed of 29.5 feet per second ranked sixth among all players with 100 or more competitive runs in major league baseball.

Bader’s.973 zone rating was the highest by any Major League outfielder since the category was first tracked in 1987.

He had the highest SABR defensive index (14.4), ultimate zone rating (11.4), putouts/9 innings (2.93), range factor/9 (2.97), and zone rating among major league outfielders (.973). He led NL outfielders in outs above average (13), runs prevented (12), and defensive runs saved (3rd) (15)
