In Richlands, Virginia, on October 22, 1982, Heath Miller was born. He plays professional football for the United States. In football, Heath Miller was a quarterback for the Honaker Tigers. Both the Region D Offensive Player of the Year and the Associated Press Player of the Year honors were given to him. He was selected twice for AP All-State.

He started playing football in college in 2001 for the Virginia Cavaliers. In due course, Miller began playing tight end. He received the John Mackey Award over his three seasons with the squad, and in 2004 he was named a consensus All-America. He chose to forego the NFL Draft eligibility. His selection by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2005 NFL Draft was 30th overall.
