Hector Rabago enters his seventh season with Riverside City College as an assistant baseball coach. He works primarily with hitters, infielders, and catchers.
Rabago has been a defensive, catching, and assistant hitting coach for parts of 6 seasons with the New York Yankees (2014-2019). In 2017, he was a part of the staff that lead the Charleston Riverdogs to the second-half Southern Division Champions.

His teams also placed 1st in their division in 2014 and 2015. From 2014-2016, he helped guide his teams to place in the top 4 in fielding percentages.
Rabago was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 18th Round of the 2009 first-year player draft, where he played five seasons as a catcher and infielder. He was a part of the New York Penn League Champions in 2009.
He played his collegiate years at the University of Southern California (2007-2009). Rabago was a two-year starter as an infielder and catcher.
Additionally, he made 25 relief appearances on the mound during his freshmen and sophomore seasons. Rabago graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Sociology.
