Responding to curious fans who noticed the removal of “Guinness World Record holder” from her social media bio, the Akwa-Ibom-born chef took to her platform to clarify the update. She explained that the adjustment mirrored her predecessor, Chef Lata, who had “respectfully acknowledged” Fisher as the new record holder by updating her bio.

In her statement, Baci expressed admiration for Fisher’s remarkable achievement, noting that he cooked nonstop for an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes—surpassing her record by more than 24 hours. She acknowledged the significant effort and hard work it took to attain such a feat.

“Just as Chef Lata respectfully acknowledged the new record holder by updating her bio and later fine-tuning the wording, I’ve adjusted mine too. Achieving such a record is no small feat, and I know this firsthand. I have only the greatest admiration for the hard work it took for Alan to reach such heights,” Baci shared.

Emphasizing the spirit of sportsmanship and recognizing progress, Baci highlighted that she remains a record holder, not just in title but in the spirit and history of the accomplishment. Her message encourages celebrating achievements and fostering a positive spirit of competition in the culinary world. As she gracefully transitions to a new chapter, Baci’s legacy as a Guinness World Record holder endures.
