Hilda Dokubo, a very famous Nigerian actress, has sent a strong warning message to Nigerian movie producers in Nollywood, to consider safety measure in all the activities they undertake.

This warning comes in line with the unfortunate death of Junior Pope after he drowned in a river during a movie shoot.
Hilda Dokubo took to Instagram to warn the filmmakers in Nigeria and also to send her heartfelt condolences to the family of Junior Pope.
Hilda Dokubo added that five of their colleagues in the Nigerian film industry lost their lives to avoidable deaths due to safety negligence.

Hilda Dokubo added that for roles that require crossing of rivers and other water bodies, life jackets should be provided to the actors involved to avoid unforeseen circumstances.
Hilda Dokubo stated: “Some deaths are avoidable! It is time to put actors welfare on the table! It is time to save the lives of those still alive. It’s important to practice in a safe and secured environment. There must be travel rules.., haba! Five persons one day? Then water spirits, native doctors, mermaid worshippers and all other kinds of craziness!”
