John Joseph Travolta is an American actor.

Born and raised in Englewood, New Jersey, the son of Salvatore “Sam” Travolt and Helen Cecilia.

Travolta attended Dwight Morrow High School but dropped out as a junior at age 17 in 1971. After dropping out of school, Travolta moved across the Hudson River to New York City and landed a role in the touring company of the musical Grease and on Broadway in Over Here!, singing the Sherman Brothers’ song “Dream Drummin’”.

He gained public attention during the 1970s, for appearing on the television sitcom Welcome Back, Kotter and starring in the box office successes Carrie, Saturday Night Fever, Grease, and Urban Cowboy.

While Lily Tomlin is an American actress, comedian, writer, singer, and producer.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Lillie Mae and Guy Tomlin. Lily attended Cass Technical High School. After completing in 1957, she enrolled at Wayne State University and originally studied biology.

Right after college, Tomlin began stand-up comedy in nightclubs in Detroit and later in New York City. She first appeared on television in 1965 on The Merv Griffin Show and a year later, she became a cast member on the short-lived third and final incarnation of The Garry Moore Show.
