After playing college football for Arkansas, he was chosen by the San Diego Chargers in the second round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

In 2015, Hunter Henry participated in one of Arkansas football’s iconic plays.

Hunter Henry helped Arkansas win back-to-back bowl games in successive years for the first time in program history with wins over the 2014 Texas Bowl’s opponent, the Texas Longhorns, and the 2016 Liberty Bowl’s opponent, the Kansas State Wildcats.

During the 2016 NFL Draft, San Diego Chargers selected Hunter Henry in the second round. In the 2016 NFL Draft, Hunter Henry was taken first overall as a tight end.
