The discovery of Suzanne Morphew’s remains, which occurred while authorities were investigating another case, is the latest twist in a mystery that has seen prosecutors accuse her husband with murder and then abandon their case.
Her husband, Barry Morphew, had been charged with murder and other charges in her suspected death, but prosecutors dropped their case against him just as he was set to go on trial last year.
Following that, Barry Morphew launched a $15 million lawsuit against county officials.
