I always want to just write, get in this delirious late night explosion of writing, dialogue, and character. But when I have been forced in order to get projects through and get hired for projects, you have to be good at story and you have to know what those structures are. You realize that there is nothing for nothing and everything’s got a reason to be in there,” she said.

Pell was also a producer and writer for the sitcom 30 Rock, and is also credited with writing the episodes ‘Argus’ and ‘Floyd.’
