Howie Schwab, a long time ESPN producer and the familiar face of the trivia show “Stump the Schwab,” passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the age of 63, as confirmed by his family.

Schwab had a long-standing career at ESPN, joining the network in 1987 and contributing until 2013. During his tenure, he became well-known for his work on various ESPN programs.

However, he gained particular recognition as the central figure on “Stump the Schwab,” a trivia show where contestants vied against him for cash prizes.

The show, which aired from 2004 to 2006, showcased Schwab’s extensive knowledge and became a beloved feature among fans.
