Hugo Mbongue is a 5′ 11″ young Canadian soccer player who plays for Toronto FC in Major League Soccer. He is the team’s forward. He was born in Ontario, Canada, on July 27, 2004.
Mbongue was given a domestic contract by Toronto FC that runs through 2025 with a 2026 option.

Mbongue signed an MLS NEXT Pro contract and began playing for Toronto FC II in May 2022. Since joining the Young Reds, he has appeared in 14 games (11 starts), scoring four goals and dishing out five assists in the league’s debut season.

At the Honduras 2022 Concacaf U-20 Championship, the gifted forward Mbongue, 19, represented Canada three times on an international stage. He was selected to play for Canada in the 2022 CONCACAF U-20 Championship in June 2022.
