Ian Clark, a 2013 graduate of Belmont and current NBA player for the New Orleans Pelicans, has launched a campaign to collect money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Memphis (BGCM) in order to engage, inspire, and empower young people.

To reach his target of $20,000 for BGCM, Clark has teamed up with Pledge It, an online platform that allows athletes to collect money for their team or charity depending on their performance.
Boys & Girls Clubs of America was always a place where Clark’s friends and family felt enriched, safe, and encouraged as he was growing up, the author says on the website.
