American real estate developer and investor, Fred Trump, is no longer alive. He died on June 25, 1999, after battling Pneumonia.

Born on October 11, 1905, in Bronx, New York, Fred was the father of former American President, Donald Trump; and the husband of late Mary Anne MacLeod Trump.
Fred ventured into real estate early in life with the help of his mother, by beginning with home construction and sales.
Upon graduation in 1923, Fred worked full-time work pulling lumber to construction sites and even worked as a carpentery assistant.

Fred’s built his first house from an $800 loan he got from his mother. He later sold the house in 1924.
As of 1926, Trump had built 20 homes in Queens, and sold some even before they were completed.
The business grew and later, his real estate company which he set up, began to build and manage single-family houses in Queens, barracks and garden apartments for U.S. Navy personnel.
At the time, Fred built more than 27,000 houses in New York City.
