Hunter Henry is TE1. The Patriots signed tight ends Jonnu Smith, a former Titans tight end, and Hunter Henry, a former Chargers tight end, during the 2021 offseason, adding two new tight ends to their roster.

By running a 4.67 in the 40-yard dash and finishing 21 reps on the bench press, Henry was able to outperform his pro day and solidify his position as one of the top tight ends in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Henry and the Chargers reached an agreement on a four-year, $6.38 million contract on June 2, 2016, which included a $2.84 million signing bonus and a $3.98 million guarantee.

Henry and the New England Patriots agreed to a three-year, $37.5 million contract on March 19, 2021.
