Unlike his father who had a very successful career in the NBA, Marcus didn’t play professionally in the NBA. Marcus Jordan quit the UCF basketball team in August 2012, following in the footsteps of his brother Jeffrey, who left the team in January of the same year.

On an early Sunday morning in Omaha, Nebraska, Marcus Jordan was arrested by police after he was arguing with two women in a hotel driveway at 2:11 a.m. CT.
Surprisingly, that wasn’t the first time he had been seen negatively in the news. After Jordan, who was underage, boasted on Twitter about spending $35,000 at a Las Vegas Strip nightclub in late 2010. He later expressed regret and apologized in a tweet.
Despite leaving the team, Jordan kept attending studies at the university. He earned a degree in hospitality management in 2013.
